THE TRIBES OF YAH IS A CONGREGATION OF TRUE WORSHIPPERS WHO WORSHIP THE FATHER IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH AS OUTLINED IN JOHN 4:23-24. WE ARE HERE TO PROCLAIM THE GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN AND OF YAHUSHA THE MESSIAH. ALL PRAISE TO THE MOST HIGH YAH.

The Ministry of THE TRIBES OF YAH as written in Scripture is a witness to YASHAREL to give thanks to the Name of YHUH. As a ministry we are here to restore biblical communal living, strengthen families, and empower believers through discipleship, worship, and compassionate service. We seek to honor the ELOHYM of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob while building communities rooted in love, stewardship and faith of YAHUSHA HA MASHIACH.Our Vision is o gather together The Set-apart people of YAH. To see families spiritually grounded, debt-free, secure in housing, and capable of living self-sufficient lives that reflect the gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven, Established by Elohym, founded in YAHUSHA HA MASHIACH, preached and followed by the apostles. In obedience to THE MASTER, true worshippers must worship THE FATHER in Spirit and in Truth.

Brother James
(Pastor)

James Ballott II, is the pastor of The Tribes of Yah Ministries, a gospel music creator, and an entrepreneur with a vision for faith-centered community building. Born in Los Angeles, California in the mid-1980s, James was raised in the church. His grandfather Cleveland Ballott sr. served as the head pastor of Christian Light Church of God In Christ for 25 years in Compton Ca., and his grandmother faithfully supported ministry leadership — shaping an environment where the influence of the Holy Spirit was always present. At seven years old, his grandmother prophesied to him that he was chosen to serve God.More than two decades later, James fully surrendered to that calling while incarcerated. During that season, he came to true repentance and transformation, discovering his purpose: to lead people back to Yah through belief in the Master Yahusha — calling believers to return to the commandments of Elohym, teaching truth, and guiding others to restoration.Today, led by the Spirit, James serves through The Tribes of Yah Ministries with a vision to build faith-based communities grounded in the gospel and modeled after the unity seen in Acts chapter 4. Recently led to Tulsa, Oklahoma, he is focused on gathering YAH'S people, building places where believers live Set-apart, grow together in reverence, worship the Father in Spirit and in Truth while faithfully preparing for the return of Yahusha Ha Mashiach.

My name is Gregory Thurman. I am 56 years old, originally from Dunn, North Carolina, and a veteran of the U.S. Army, where I was stationed in Hampton Roads, Virginia.I have been with The Tribes of Yah for about two years now. Having been raised in the Pentecostal church, I knew in my spirit throughout my adult life that there was more to the Word of the Most High than what was being taught in modern Christian churches. I prayed for His truth, and in 2016, He pulled me out of the Sunday church after showing me that Sunday was not the Sabbath.Through years of prayer, fasting, and studying the Word—including the hidden books of the Bible and the Dead Sea Scrolls—He revealed the most important truth: the true name of the Father, YAH, and our Master, YAHUSHA.After seeking various assemblies, I was led to Brother James Ballot and The Tribes of Yah around 2024. Under Pastor James’s leadership, I know I am receiving the true Word. I have grown closer to our Heavenly Father through teachings guided by the Holy Spirit.
